DBA USA is proud to announce their 10 year anniversary in the United States. In 2005, the vice-president of DBA, Mark Joseph, moved from Australia to the US to personally look after DBA’s stateside customers. By building a team here in the US, DBA has been able to better cater to the needs of their customers here, as well as adapt their product mix and application coverage to better suit the vehicles on the road in America. This US division manages all North and South American sales, marketing and warehousing for Disc Brakes Australia and has garnered much success in this short time.
“Despite over 30 years of brake manufacturing in Australia, we still learned a lot in the decade we have been here,” says Mark Joseph, General Manager, DBA USA. “The needs of our customers and the way people use their cars is different here, as are the trends and popular vehicles. So we have had to add some vehicle coverage and also modify our products in some ways to better suit the American enthusiast.”
During the last ten years, DBA USA has held true to their “Made in Australia” heritage, as well as expanded their global footprint to keep up with increasing demand, all while continuing to innovate and improve their rotor designs. DBA’s patented Kangaroo Paw ventilation design featuring a series of 144 diamond and teardrop pillars, has been embraced by racers and street enthusiast alike and that trust has also allowed DBA to develop their improved T-slot curved slotting that is a vast improvement over straight slot designs.
DBA USA attributes their ongoing success here in the USA to their highly supportive dealer network, and their loyal customers.
